Tammy Hoy Cutler is a Toronto-based artist with a background in fine art, photography, media arts and motion design. She recently completed her Advanced Certificate in Film and Video Post Production from George Brown College, where she developed a passion for visual storytelling. Her artistic practice is rooted in creating work that is visually engaging, narratively rich, and accessible to the public. The Danforth Chronicles is her second documentary series, blending her lifelong creative practice with a passion for local history and community engagement.

From its early days as a dirt road to its transformation into one of Toronto’s most vibrant cultural hubs, this docuseries uncovers the rich history and untold stories of Danforth Avenue. The Danforth Chronicles is a short-form documentary with each 6–10 minute episode uncovering a unique story — from beloved local businesses to architectural treasures — offering a window into the lives, events, and spirit that have shaped the east side of Toronto. Combining archival research, animation, dynamic visuals, and personal narration, the series aims to engage local audiences and celebrate the character of one of Toronto’s most iconic streets.
